Repeated presidential elections of Abkhazia can pass before the end of April
The election date will be set Monday, January 13. The participants of the previous elections, including reaching the second round Raul Khajimba and alas Kvitsinia, could again stand as candidates in the presidential elections.

Deputy Secretary of Russian Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev met in Sukhum the President of Abkhazia Raul khadjimba and told him about his meetings with representatives of the Abkhaz opposition. Nurgaliyev Khajimba and discussed ways of normalizing the situation in the Republic, in particular the possibility of negotiations between the President and opposition representatives.
