According to preliminary information, three of the city’s residents and resident of the Tomsk region has made not less than eight carjackings. The last took place on 29 April. The suspects then stole “UAZ Patriot”. As reported STRC “Novosibirsk” the press service GU MVD in the region, one of the gang members were previously convicted.
During searches in places of residence of the accused, the police found 4 cars. Numbers of vehicles were destroyed. Also, law enforcement officers found 3 radio stations and spare parts for domestic cars.
