SailGP is making a historic return to New York on June 22/23, and the excitement is building as the teams have finalized their crew line-ups for the event. The crews are all set for the penultimate event of Season 4, with familiar faces locked in for the competition.
Australia has Tom Slingsby as the driver, Kyle Langford as the wing trimmer, Jason Waterhouse as the flight controller, Kinley Fowler and Sam Newton as the grinders, and Ed Powys as the reserve. Tash Bryant is the strategist, and Ben Durham is the coach.
Canada’s crew includes Phil Robertson as the driver, Paul Campbell-James as the wing trimmer, Billy Gooderham as the flight controller, and Tom Ramshaw and Jareese Finch as the grinders. Cooper Dressler is the reserve grinder, Annie Haegar is the strategist, and Philippe Presti is the coach.
ROCKWOOL DEN has Nicolai Sehested as the driver, Tom Johnson as the wing trimmer, Rasmus Køstner as the flight controller, and Julius Hallström, Hans-Christian Rosendahl, and Luke Payne as the grinders. Richard Mason is the reserve sailor, Katja Salskov-Iversen is the strategist, and Chris Nicholsen is the coach.
France’s crew features Quentin Delapierre as the driver, Kevin Peponnet as the wing trimmer, Jason Saunders as the flight controller, and Matthieu Vandame, Timothe Lapauw, and Olivier Herledant as the grinders. Manon Audinet is the strategist, and Thierry Douillard is the coach.
Germany has Erik Heil as the driver, Stuart Bithell as the wing trimmer, James Wierzbowski as the flight controller, and Dan Morris, Jonathan Knottnerus-Meyer, and Felix van der Hovel as the grinders. Sophie Steinlein is the strategist, and Lennart Breisenick is the coach.
Emirates GBR’s crew includes Giles Scott as the driver, Iain Jensen as the wing trimmer, Luke Parkinson as the flight controller, and Nick Hutton and Neil Hunter as the grinders. Hannah Mills is the strategist, Hannah Diamond is the reserve strategist, and Rob Wilson is the coach.
New Zealand’s crew features Peter Burling as the driver, Blair Tuke as the wing trimmer, Andy Maloney as the flight controller, and Josh Junior and Louis Sinclair as the grinders. Marcus Hansen is the reserve sailor, Liv Mackay is the strategist, and Ray Davies is the coach.
Spain has Diego Botin as the driver, Florian Trittel as the wing trimmer, Joel Rodriguez as the flight controller, and Joan Cardona, Stewart Dodson, and Bernardo Freitas as the grinders. Nicole van der Velden is the strategist, and Simone Salva is the coach.
Switzerland’s crew includes Nathan Outteridge as the driver, Will Ryan as the wing trimmer, Francois Morvan as the flight controller, and Jérémy Bachelin, Julien Rolaz, and Elliot Merceron as the grinders. Laurane Mettraux is the strategist, and Emmett Lazich is the coach.
Lastly, the United States has Taylor Canfield as the driver, Jeremy Wilmot as the wing trimmer, Mac Agnese as the flight controller, and Peter Kinney and Alex Sinclair as the grinders. Anna Weis serves as the strategist and second grinder, Mike Buckley is the strategist, and Evan Aras is the coach.
