New equipment for the launch complex "Angara" has arrived on the East

the cosmodrome Vostochny, Russia delivered the first batch of bottles for the system for the carrier rocket “Angara-A5” compressed gases. The weight of each of them — more than four tons. Tanks are used to store, receive and supplying helium, nitrogen and air. The new equipment will be mounted in the technical and launch complexes. It is reported by the GTRK “Amur”, aired on TV channels “Russia 1” “Russia 24”.

Already in the middle of the month at the Baikonur expected shipment launch pad for rockets “Angara”. Oversized parts will be shipped by sea. The design weight is 2 tons. Equipment will be sent from Severodvinsk via the Arctic ocean, then Bering Strait, Okhotsk and in the Barents sea and will arrive in port in the Gulf of Sovetskaya Gavan. After which it will be reloaded to the barge and see the Amur and delivered to the cosmodrome East. The launch pad completes its journey in September.
