the remote meeting of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin with Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin on may 27 discussed the epidemiological situation in the capital and the possible partial weakening of quarantine measures imposed earlier due to the coronavirus.
Sobyanin told Putin that it was decided from June 1 to open all the enterprises of trade and sphere of household services.
Another important question for people who for almost 2 months were in isolation – the possibility of walking through the streets, parks and squares.
At the meeting, which was led by the TV channel “Russia 24”, the mayor reported to the President of Russia, as of 1 June in the capital will be allowed to walk, but in “test mode” and on schedule for citizens living in different houses.
Moscow mayor offers a “simple and affordable” scheme. “But after all, not all at once (had to walk)”, — said Sobyanin.
He explained that the Moscow authorities are afraid: if to allow walking all at once, the streets will be crowded, “like at a may day demonstration”.
“And so a week or two to live — to see how the situation will develop”, — said the mayor at a remote meeting with Vladimir Putin.
