the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree approved the draft Protocol on amending the intergovernmental agreement with Russia on 25 November 2011 on the formation of prices and tariffs for supply of natural gas in Republic and its transit through its territory. The draft Protocol is approved as the basis for negotiations.

yesterday during his working trip to Shklov district the Belarusian President in an emotional manner stated about the need to protect the interests of Belarus and its people, given the current difficulties in negotiations on energy supplies from Russia. According to Lukashenko, Russia has not fulfilled the agreements on gas prices for Belarus, achieved in the sale of “Gazprom” Belarusian gas transportation system in 2007-2011.
