As reported, on December 20th President of the United States signed the defence budget for 2020, providing for sanctions against the gas pipeline “Nord stream-2” and “Turkish stream”.

the Minister stressed that Russia does not seek confrontation with the United States, however, will adequately respond to the aggressive attacks of Washington.

the Russian foreign Minister expressed confidence that, despite the sanctions, the gas pipeline “Nord stream-2” will be completed.
“In Europe realize the benefits from creating additional export route, although, unfortunately, there are countries willing to work for overseas curators to the detriment of its own energy security and well-being of its citizens”, — said Lavrov.
the Project “Northern stream-2” involves the construction of two pipelines with a total capacity of 55 billion cubic meters of gas off the coast of Russia through the Baltic sea to Germany. Except Russia, participate in the construction and European companies.
