In Podgorica, police dispersed a protest against "law on religion"

In the capital of Montenegro last night the police used against the demonstrators with tear gas and stun grenades. The reason for the clashes was the attempt of public utilities to paint in Podgorica, one of the symbols of protest — graffiti with the image of the old Montenegrin flag with the motto “do Not give up the Shrine!”.

the Street protests in defense of the Serbian Orthodox Church held in the cities of Montenegro regularly — once in the end of last year the Parliament approved the so-called “law on religious associations”. Believers fear that after its adoption, the property of the Serbian Orthodox Church will take and pass unrecognized Montenegrin “Autocephalous” Church, said the TV channel “Russia 24”.
