As previously reported, a major hotbed of coronavirus infection was discovered not far from the cosmodrome “East”. Immediately the city was closed for entry and exit. On the roads there were posts. For carrying out sanitation to the city there arrived specialists of radiation, chemical and biological defense of the Eastern military district. The military was treated with all important facilities, including stations, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and residential, roads and squares of the city, parks and squares.
As noted, for the first time in the history of this military unit such a large settlement was completely disinfected in a record six days. All decontaminated approximately 300 facilities with a total area of 150 thousand square meters (about 20 football fields). Just to contain the outbreak COVID-19 was attended by more than 60 soldiers and about 30 vehicles. With gratitude to the military asked the representatives of the city administration and the residents themselves.
