The past few weeks have not been without complications for Benjamin Pavard. The French international recently lost his place in the FC Bayern back four. And even off the field, apparently not everything went smoothly for the 26-year-old soccer professional.
According to information from “Bild”, the police found the defender drunk at the wheel of his vehicle. Pavard was then revoked his driver’s license. The incident is said to have happened about six weeks ago after a Bayern home game.
According to “Bild”, the soccer player is said to have had a blood alcohol level of well over 0.8 per mille. “Depending on whether there have been alcohol-related incidents before, there is at least a month’s driving ban, a fine of 500 euros and two points in Flensburg,” writes the newspaper.
As “Bild” also reports, Pavard has already received a sanction from his employer: FC Bayern have therefore imposed a high five-digit sum as a fine on the Frenchman.
