Neighbors… those others who live next to us, above, below or opposite us, depending on whether we live in an apartment or a house. Relations are sometimes cordial, sometimes friendly but can also degenerate and make us experience real hell.
Every year in France, there are numerous news events which take place against a backdrop of conflict between neighbors.
Discord often finds its origin in the nuisances (sound, olfactory, etc.) that some attribute to others. It can also be a question of size or encroachment: a wall too high, a poorly parked vehicle, square meters claimed, etc. And while everything can often be resolved quickly, it is sometimes necessary for neighbors in conflict to call on third parties to decide. Law enforcement, mediators and lawyers may indeed be required to intervene depending on the form the conflict takes.
