the Olympic Committee of Russia joined the process in the court of arbitration for Sport (CAS) on the dispute of the world anti-doping Agency (WADA) with the Russian anti-doping Agency (RUSADA) to deprive of the journalist of the status of compliance with the world anti-doping code and its consequences. The ROC was sent to the CAS notification.
the ROC on its official website reported that “on 16 January 2020, the Olympic Committee of Russia has directed to court of arbitration for Sport official application to join the proceedings on the dispute between WADA and RUSADA regarding the decision of the Executive Committee of the world anti-doping Agency from 09 December 2019 on the deprivation of RUSADA status of compliance with the world anti-doping code and its consequences.”
In December, the Executive Committee of WADA issued a decision on suspension of Russian athletes from participating in international competitions, including the Olympic and Paralympic games for four years. General meeting of the members of RUSADA has decided not to accept the decision of the Executive Committee of WADA. WADA after receipt of the notice from the journalist appealed to the court of arbitration for Sport.
