The Florida Panthers done did it again, y’all! They managed to defend their Stanley Cup title by beating the Edmonton Oilers for the second year in a row. Currently, the Panthers are co-favorites with the Carolina Hurricanes and Colorado Avalanche. The Oilers, who were supposed to be the top dogs in the preseason, are now sitting in fourth place. And let’s not forget about the Dallas Stars, who are holding it down in the top 5.

The Vegas Golden Knights are still hanging in there at +900, thanks to Jack Eichel tearing it up on the ice. He’s the top-ranked player in ESPN Fantasy hockey, in case y’all didn’t know. The New Jersey Devils are on fire, winning six games straight and climbing up to No. 4 in the NHL Power Rankings with odds of 14-1. As for the Atlantic Division-leading Montreal Canadiens, they’re still at 50-1, same as when the regular season started.

Over in other parts of the board, the Toronto Maple Leafs are at 16-1 to finally end their Cup drought. The New York Rangers are at 30-1, and the Boston Bruins have some pretty long odds at 200-1 after starting the regular season at 100-1. Not really sure why this matters, but hey, that’s the way the cookie crumbles in the world of hockey betting. So, if y’all wanna place your bets, now’s the time!
