“A little surprised,” admit those close to François Ruffin, upon discovering the results of the opinion poll commissioned by their Picardie Debout party, which is testing itself on the left (except NPA), returns the newspaper Libération.

Three years before the 2027 presidential election, which, it seems, could not escape Marine Le Pen, the poll from the Cluster 17 institute already anticipates that the best candidate to win the left would be Ruffin!, points out the site agoravox.fr.

The survey, in all cases, was carried out by an unknown candidate, with the aim of knowing the feasibility of a candidacy. A common thing in the run-up to a municipal election in a large city, to probe, in particular, the reputation of the potential candidate, develops the same site.

The polling institute, requested by those close to François Ruffin, offered respondents two hypotheses for the first round: one with François Ruffin as the sole candidate of the left, the other with Jean-Luc Mélenchon in his place.

The survey was carried out on a sample of 1,700 people on the Internet from April 2 to 5, 2024. The confidential survey revealed at the beginning of the week by Libération shows that in the event of a single left-wing candidacy in 2027, he would surpass Jean-Luc Mélenchon .

Ruffin would get 29% in the first round, one point behind the RN and four ahead of Edouard Philippe, and would be 50-50 against Marine Le Pen in the second round.

Here, below, in our slideshow, is the rest of the ranking, according to the first hypothesis proposed by the survey:
