The 2024 World Rowing Cup series finals are set to take place in Poznan, Poland from June 14-16, where the overall winner will be determined. The competition is intense, with only 10 points separating the Netherlands and Great Britain. This event serves as the final international racing opportunity before the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Several nations, including Great Britain, the Netherlands, and Romania, are using the regatta to test their potential LA 2028 hopefuls at the international level. Additionally, crews that recently qualified at the 2024 World Rowing Final Olympic & Paralympic Qualification Regatta will also be competing in Poland.

In the women’s single sculls category, there are 23 entries, including Tokyo 2020 Olympic silver and bronze medallists Anna Prakaten and Magdalena Lobnig. One standout surprise is Anneta Kyridou of Greece, who will be representing the USA in this boat class.

The PR3 Mix2x category will feature the reigning World Rowing Champions and World Best Time holders, Nikki Ayers and Jed Altschwager of Australia, competing against the newly crowned European Champions from Great Britain, Annabel Caddick and Sam Murray. The PR3 Mix4+ category, on the other hand, has not yet been contested at the World Rowing Cups this season.

Currently, the Netherlands lead the 2024 World Rowing Cup points with 128, followed by Great Britain with 118, and Italy with 77. The competition in Poznan promises to be thrilling as nations vie for the overall title in the series.
